UPF50+ is the highest sun protection rating, blocking at least 98% of harmful UVA and UVB rays. Designed for the Australian outdoors, Toshi UPF 50+ Sunhats and Swimwear provide trusted protection for long days in the sun.
Toshi UPF50+ rating is achieved in the fabric manufacturing process. This ensures the safety and permanence of Toshi sun protection.
Alternatively, the UPF50+ rating can be achieved via a chemical treatment to the finished product. The chemical treatment is temporary with the potential for chemicals to be released from the fabric surface, creating a health and safety risk for precious babies.
